Dr. Janie Edwards is a Virginia native and grew up on a farm in Southampton County where her family still raises cattle and crops. She went to Virginia Tech and studied Animal Science for three years, followed by four years of veterinary school in Blacksburg. Dr. Edwards has a strong interest in dentistry, but she also enjoys internal medicine, surgery, and preventative medicine. During her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, working out, renovation projects, plants, and spending time outdoors with her two border collies and her husband, Cody.
