Dr. Morton is a proud Mechanicsville native with deep roots in the community she now serves. Her passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age, and she followed that dream to James Madison University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in 2021. From there, she went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech in 2025.

Throughout her training, Dr. Morton developed a special interest in dentistry, preventative care, and soft tissue surgery. She is dedicated to building lasting relationships with both pets and their families, believing that the key to a happy, healthy life for animals starts with proactive care and strong client communication. Her favorite moments in practice are when she can make a difference not just in a pet’s health, but in their quality of life.

When she isn’t at the clinic, Dr. Morton enjoys an active lifestyle. You’ll often find her on the tennis or pickleball courts, spending time on the trails soaking in the outdoors, or relaxing with friends at one of Virginia’s many local breweries. At home, she is kept busy by her two beloved companions—a golden retriever named Nelli, who never turns down a game of fetch, and a playful tabby cat named Moose, who keeps the household entertained with his curious personality.

Dr. Morton is excited to bring her skills, enthusiasm, and compassionate care to every patient she meets, and she feels grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community that has always felt like home.
