Dr. Stuart Callahan is a Mechanicsville native and graduated from Hanover High School in 2007. He continued his academic career at Hampden-Sydney College where he played football and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011. He then went on to Virginia Tech to pursue a Master of Science in Animal & Poultry Sciences that landed him a job working for Smithfield Foods. Dr. Callahan graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. His professional interests include preventative medicine and surgery. Dr. Callahan is excited to be back in his hometown to serve the Hanover community. His personal interests include outdoor sports, spending time with family and friends, attending concerts/sporting events and cheering on the Hokies.
